In episode 11 of Una Nueva Vida, emotions run high as Ferit confronts Yusuf, asking if he and Seyran are romantically involved. Yusuf’s confirmation devastates Ferit, though he tries to hide his reaction. Ferit, unable to accept this situation, confronts Seyran, leaving her torn between anger and hurt—angry at Ferit’s mistrust and frustrated by his probing into her past. This conflict leads to a heated argument between them, prompting Ferit to storm off.

In the midst of this tension, Abidin, a close confidant, advises Ferit to stay calm and avoid dredging up the past. That night, they go out together, and a flirtatious woman catches Ferit’s attention. However, when Pelin, another woman connected to Ferit, hears from a friend that he’s at a club with someone else, she rushes over, leading to a confrontation between the two women. While Ferit tries to break up the fight, a photographer snaps several compromising pictures, capturing the drama.

Though Abidin chases the photographer to prevent the images from being published, the journalist refuses any bribe or persuasion. Later, Seyran and Ferit attempt to save face, projecting a happy front for the cameras. Ferit, desperate to contain the scandal, turns to his father, who intervenes with the journalist’s boss. For a moment, it seems the situation is under control, as they’re reassured the photos won’t be published.

Meanwhile, Gulgun, another family member, subtly advises Pelin to distance herself, which Pelin reluctantly agrees to, ignoring Ferit’s calls. Yet, the journalist, pressured by his boss, resigns and publishes the photos independently under the headline “Nights of the Kingfisher.”

The scandal explodes when Seyran’s father Kazim sees the images and angrily arrives at Ferit’s mansion, declaring it a disgrace and demanding to take Seyran back home.
